CPS Beta Testers

We are now looking for new testers to add to the system. The software works, but there are still problems to work out.

The system can be set to allow you to chase anonymously, without revealing your personal identification. Only a user ID will be seen.

To be a tester we have a few requirements:

1. You must be an active storm chaser or spotter.
2. You must have means to maintain an active internet connection while out chasing.
3. You must have a webcam that can view out the front windshield continuously while you are driving.
4. You must agree to give us complete rights to any data and images uploaded. You are free to do what you wish with your archived data, but you may not restrict us from any use of these products.

Tell me a little about yourself, what kind of internet connection you are using, and what make and model webcam you will be using.

If you are chosen to participate I will send a link to download the CPS software, a user ID and passkey, and a link to the CPS forum where you can ask questions and report problems, bugs, and suggestions.

I'll also be creating a script you can use on your website to load a google map showing only your position so visitors to your site can keep up with you without visiting the main CPS site.
